It was raining gold for India in Press category at 60th Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity where Indian agencies won a record 11 medals including 4 Gold, 2 Silver and 5 Bronze Lions. Out of total 37 entries shortlisted, 28 entries were awarded with 11 medals. For the record, Indian agencies won 4 Press Lions each in 2011 and 2012 missing Gold in both the years.

McCann Worldgroup Mumbai won 2 Gold medals for its 'William Shakespeare', 'Mark Twain' and 'Oscar Wilde' campaign done for Penguin Audiobooks in 'Publication & Media' and 'Art Direction' categories.

Taproot India's 'Farmer Suicide' campaign for The Times of India continued winning more medals and won a Gold Lion and a Silver Lion in 'Fundraising & Appeals' and 'Art Direction' sub-categories respectively. So far, the campaign has won 4 Gold, a Silver Lion in Outdoor, Design and Press categories.

The fourth Gold in Press category was awarded to Grey Worldwide India for its 'Positive & Negative' campaign for P&G's Duracell Batteries in Household sub-category.

The second Silver Lion went to Leo Burnett Mumbai for its 'School' campaign for P&G's Tide Detergent Powder in Photography sub-category.

Among 5 Bronze Lions for India, Ogilvy & Mather won three. Ogilvy & Mather Gurgon was awarded 2 Bronze Lions for its 'Forest', 'Alley' and Gorge campaigns for Phillips LED Torch in 'Home Appliances & Furnishings' and 'Art Direction' sub-categories. The third Bronze went to Ogilvy & Mather Mumbai for its 'Train', 'Terrace' and 'Noose' campaigns for Dog Adoption by World for All under 'Fundraising & Appeals' sub-category.

Taproot India's 'Push ups with claps', 'Skateboard shove it' and 'Back Flip' campaigns for Pepsico's Gatorade won a Bronze in 'Non-Alcoholic Drinks' sub-category.

DDB Mudra Group won a Bronze Lion for its 'Fair' campaign done for PE Electronics' Television with Child-lock in 'Home Electronics & Audio-Visual' sub-category.
