The Coca-Cola Company today announced key organisational changes in the Pacific Group which are effective July 1, 2013. Atul Singh, currently President & CEO, India and South West Asia Business Unit, will take over as Deputy President, Pacific Group. As part of the upgraded focus on our Mainland China business, David Brooks, current GC&K Business Unit President, will assume a new leadership role as Chairman, GC&K, and will manage the GC&K BU's Public Affairs and Communications and Sustainability functions, in addition to continuing to oversee the BU's operations in Korea, Taiwan, Mongolia and Hong Kong & Macau. He will also play a key role in partnering with the company's Mergers & Acquisition team as it continues to expand its portfolio and business in China. Brooks will report to Atul Singh.

Venkatesh Kini, currently Senior Vice-President, Operations, India Region, will be elevated as Deputy Business Unit President, India and South West Asia (INSWA) Business Unit. He will continue to report to Atul Singh.

Kini is a proven business leader and has served the company for more than 14 years. He has more than two decades of experience in India and the US, in marketing, sales and general management roles. Before taking over as the Senior VP, India Operations, he served as the Vice-President Marketing for Global Juice, based in Atlanta, USA.

There are no changes in the organisation structure at Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages, the company owned bottling operations in India.
