GroupM today announced that Hiren Pandit, Managing Partner, has decided to move on from the organisation. Pandit has been associated with GroupM for close to 13 years.  He was a member of GroupM South Asia's Executive Committee (Exco).

Pandit joined Mindshare Mumbai in June 2000. In 2006 he took over as head of GroupM's Entertainment, Sports and Partnership practice. In his last assignment, he was leading projects for GroupM in the areas of productivity improvement. Apart from the various roles he has essayed, he was closely involved in Aspire, GroupM's training programme.

CVL Srinivas, CEO, GroupM South Asia, said, “Hiren has had a long and distinguished career with GroupM.  He has contributed immensely to our organisation through the various roles he has essayed. As he looks to explore career options outside of our network, we wish him the very best and would like to thank him for his valuable contribution.”

On his decision to move on from GroupM, Pandit said, “It's been a wonderful journey with GroupM. After 31 years in the business I thought it was time to take a break. Training, teaching and sports has always been a passion and something that I enjoy. Hopefully, going forward I will be able to contribute in these spheres. Its feels sad leaving a great organisation and some great people that I worked with. I wish GroupM and all the folks that I have worked with there, all the very best.”
