publive-imageColors has finally been able to overtake Star Plus in weekday programming with the channel dominating the top 10 chart with four shows. Last week, Colors has shared the top position with Star Plus with four shows each.

According to data sourced from TAM subscribers for Week 18 (April 28 – May 4) of TAM 2013, Star Plus came in with three shows in the top 10, Zee TV had two shows and SAB had one show.

India's Dancing Superstar on Star Plus continued to dominate weekend programming with an average of 2.5 TVR followed by CID on Sony and India's Best Dramebaaz on Zee TV.

Weekday toppers

Diya Aur Baati Hum on Star Plus strengthened its leadership and grew to an average of 4.0 TVR (last week 3.7).

Zee TV continued to hold the No. 2 position with Sapne Suhane Ladakpan Ke. The show was at No. 4 last week. It recorded an average of 3.0 TVR (last week 2.9).

SAB's Taarak Mehta ka Ooltah Chashma climbed two positions to No. 3 with an average TVR of 2.9 against last week's 2.8 TVR.

Star Plus' Pyaar Ka Dard Hai slipped one position to No. 4 this week with an average TVR of 2.8 TVR this week (last week 2.9).

Colors' Balika Vadhu climbed one position to No. 5 this week despite a marginal decline in its average ratings. The show averaged at 2.7 TVR this week (last week 2.8).

Zee TV's Qubool Hai slipped four positions to No. 6. The show averaged at 2.6 TVR (last week 3.2).

Star Plus' show Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai held its viewership and climbed one position to No. 7 this week. It fetched an average rating of 2.6 TVR (last week 2.6).

The No. 8 position was held by Colors's Sasural Simar Ka. The show improved to an average TVR of 2.5 (last week 2.4).

Madhubala on Colors dropped to No. 9 this week from No. 7 last week. The show averaged 2.4 TVR (last week 2.7).

Colors' Uttaran retained its position in the top 10 club this week with an average of 2.4 TVR (last week 2.5)

Weekend toppers

Star Plus new show India's Dancing Superstar continued to dominate the weekend programming at 2.5 TVR. The show opened at 2.5 TVR last week.

At No. 2, Sony's crime show CID fetched an average TVR of 2.2 (last week 2.0).

India's Best Dramebaaz on Zee TV held on to the No. 3 position with an average TVR of 2.2 (last week 1.9).

Sony's other crime show, Crime Patrol, garnered 2.0 TVR this week (last week 1.8).

Fear Files on Zee TV recorded an average TVR of 1.5 (last week1.4).

Comedy Circus ke Ajoobe on Sony averaged 1.5 TVR (last week 1.2).

Star Plus' crime fiction, Arjun, recorded 1.0 TVR (last week 1.0).

Adalat on Sony recorded 0.9 TVR (last week 1.0).
