publive-imageCNBC TV18, India's leading English business news channel, has launched a new series, 'Rules of the Start-Up Game', for start-up entrepreneurs who have a business idea but little clue about how to put it to work. The show goes on air from June 1 and will be telecast on Saturdays at 10 pm and Thursdays at 7.30 pm.

This 5-6 part mini-series looks at the many legal and financial choices that entrepreneurs have to make to get their business ideas off-the-ground. From choosing between a company or partnership structure to the government permissions involved, constructing contracts to understanding term-sheets and fundraising, this series will serve as a start-up guide for start-ups.

Commenting on the launch of the show, Suranjana Ghosh, Head – Marketing, CNBC-TV18, said, “Entrepreneurs are the backbone of India's growing economy. We believe that if nurtured with the appropriate guidance they can really inspire the 'entrepreneur spirit' for many more. Our new show will provide the guidance, valuable legal information that these entrepreneurs need as well as insights from experts. We are certain that this show will help our viewers gain an extremely informed preparedness for their entrepreneurial ventures.”

“How many times have you wanted to say 'I quit my job' but restrained yourself because starting up your own venture needed you to wade through a sea of legal and financial jargon. Don't be intimidated, be informed. That's what we hope this series will do.”, said Menaka Doshi, Corporate Editor, CNBC- TV18 and the host of the series.
