The gala night celebrating the best of the movies is finally hereâ€¦yes we are talking about the much awaited Sony Xperia Z presents MTV Movie Awards 2013. The star studded affair will see the whoâ€™s who from the world of entertainment come under one roof for another night of Golden Popcorn. The extravagant event will be aired LIVE on Vh1, April 15, 2013 at 6: 30am with a prime time repeat at 9pm.
Capturing everyoneâ€™s attention with her amazing act will be the fearless stand-up comedian Rebel Wilson as she dons the hat of the host. Also nominated for the yearâ€™s Breakthrough Performance, Wilson is sure to have everyone rolling on the floor laughing with her amazing wit and humor. Giving her company on stage to present the awards will be a slew of celebrities. Chris Pine, Zoe Saldana, Zachary Quinto and Adam Sandler are amongst the presenters. Additionally, Steve Carell, Zac Efron, Melissa McCarthy, Amanda Seyfried and Kerry Washington will also hand out iconic Golden Popcorns to winners in categories including Best Shirtless Moments, Best Fight, Best Kiss and Best Musical Moment.
And the high-profile appearances don't stop there. Actress Emma Watson, who's nominated for three statuettes, will be on stage to accept the Trailblazer Award, which recognizes young actors who are carving their own unique and diverse paths in the Hollywood industry. Even though the MTV Movie Awards are primarily about the biggest films of the year, can music be far behind? Teen sensation Selena Gomez will be performing her new single "Come & Get It" on stage. Joining her will be Macklemore & Ryan Lewis with a performance that is sure to leaving you screaming for more.
