publive-imageAccording to data sourced from TAM subscribers for Week 8 (February 17 - 23) of TAM 2013, there is no major change in the pecking order of the top 10 weekday shows but the weekend saw an impressive debut of India's Best Dramebaaz on Zee TV which became the weekend topper in its opening week. Another new show launched on Life OK was Savitri that opened at 2.2 TVR and averaged at 1.8 TVR over the week.

In terms of number of shows, Star Plus continued to lead the chart with four shows among the top 10 weekday programmes followed by Colors with three shows, Zee TV with two and SAB with one show.

The other highlights of the week were three movie premieres on Colors. Khiladi 786 rated 5.1 TVR while Table No. 21 fetched 1.1 TVR and Inkaar recorded 0.4 TVR. Filmfare Awards on Sony rated 3.6 TVR over 4 hours. Last year, Filmfare Awards had rated 4.6 TVR.

Weekday toppers

Diya Aur Baati Hum on Star Plus retained the top position for the second consecutive week. It garnered an average TVR of 4.6 (last week 4.8).

Colors' Balika Vadhu climbed one position to become the second-most watched show in Week 8. The show averaged at 4.3 TVR this week (last week 4.3).

Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai on Star Plus slipped one position to No. 3 with an average rating of 4.2 TVR (last week 4.3).

SAB's Taarak Mehta ka Ooltah Chashma fetched an average TVR of 3.8 against last week's 3.9 TVR. The show climbed one position to No. 4.

Madhubala on Colors jumped to No. 5 from last week's No. 10. The show fetched an average TVR of 3.8 (last week 3.4).

Colors' other fiction, Sasural Simar Ka, came in at No. 6 with an average TVR of 3.7 this week (last week 3.9).

Zee TV's Sapne Suhane Ladakpan Ke slipped one position to No. 7 this week. The show recorded an average TVR of 3.7 (last week 3.9).

Star Plus' fiction show, Saathiya, held No. 8 position this week, with an average of 3.6 TVR (last week 3.6).

Zee TV's Qubool Hai held No. 9 position this week with 3.5 TVR (last week 3.4).

Star Plus' Pyaar Ka Dard Hai slipped three positions to No. 10 with average TVR of 3.5 this week (last week 3.8).

Weekend toppers

India's Best Dramebaaz on Zee TV debuted this weekend as the No. 1 weekend show. It opened at 3.5 TVR.

Sony's CID recorded an average TVR of 2.4 (last week 2.7).

Star Plus' Nach Baliye 5 fetched an average of 2.3 TVR (last week 2.9).

Fear Files on Zee TV garnered an average rating of 2.0 TVR this week (last week 1.8).

Comedy Circus ke Ajoobe on Sony averaged 1.9 TVR (last week 2.3).

Sony's other crime show, Crime Patrol, fetched 1.9 TVR this week (last week 2.8).

Colors' comedy show, Nautanki, dropped further to 1.2 TVR (last week 1.6).

Star Plus' crime fiction, Arjun, also saw a decline fetching 1.1 TVR (last week 1.3).

Sony's Adalat fetched 1.1 TVR this week (last week 1.7).
