Niti Kumar takes over as GM of MediaCom Delhi

She takes over from Vinish Joshi who has decided to move on

MediaCom has announced Niti Kumar’s move to the role of General Manager, MediaCom Delhi from her current role. She takes over from Vinish Joshi who has decided to move on.

Kumar joined MediaCom in 2011 as National Director – Insights and New Business. She led a number of successful pitches, the latest being Mars, which MediaCom won this January. A graduate from St Xavier’s College, Kolkata, and a post-graduate in media planning from MICA, Ahmedabad, she has over 13 years of experience in the media agency domain. She has worked on a host of blue chip clients including ICI Paints, HBO, Dabur, Amway, Gillette, Reckitt Benckiser, Electrolux, Yatra.com, to name a few.

Debraj Tripathy, MD, MediaCom India, commented, “Niti has shown perseverance and maturity in the way she has been able to manage both the new business and the consumer insights processes. She is absolutely the best person to take over from Vinish. Vinish has been with MediaCom for the last six years and has done a great job of nurturing our clients as well as the MediaCom Delhi team.
