GEC Watch: Top 4 channels maintain pecking order; Life OK overtakes SAB at No. 5

Star Plus, Zee TV, Colors and Sony retain their No. 1, 2, 3 and 4 positions, respectively, in Week 7 of TAM 2013

According to viewership data sourced from TAM subscribers for the CS 4+, HSM markets, in Week 7 (February 10-16, 2013) of TAM, Star Plus continues to lead the Hindi general entertainment channels despite losing a few GRPs. Zee TV has retained the No. 2 position even though it lost 17 GRPs while Colors, at No. 3, has been able to hold eyeballs. At No. 4, Sony has added a few points. Life OK has replaced SAB TV to become No. 5 Hindi GEC in Week 7.

Despite losing a few GRPs in Week 7, Star Plus has widened the gap with the No. 2 GEC. The channel has clocked 259 GRPs (last week 264).

Zee TV continued at No. 2 but lost 17 GRPs recording 226 GRPs this week (last week 243).

Colors remained at No. 3 position with 205 GRPs (last week 206).

At No. 4, Sony Entertainment Television added a few points and recorded stable at 164 GRPs (last week 160).

By adding maximum points in Week 7, Life OK has replaced SAB TV at No. 5. The channel has recorded 142 GRPs (last week 124).

SAB TV has recorded 136 GRPs (last week 132).

Star Utsav garnered 51 GRPs in Week 7 (last week 51).
