publive-imageThe inclusion of 5 LC1 markets forming new HSM has not impacted the top 10 shows on Hindi GECs besides a few changes in their order. According to TAM data sourced from TAM subscribers for Week 5 (January 27 – February 2, 2013), Star Plus continued to lead with four shows among the top 10 weekday programmes followed by Colors with three shows, Zee TV with two and SAB with one show. Balika Vadhu on Colors remained the chart topper.

Among weekend shows, the chart topper was Nach Baliye 5 on Star Plus that took a big leap and grew about 60 per cent over the last week. Colors new weekend show, Nautanki, opened at 2.9 TVR and took the No. 2 spot. The Grand Finale of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa on Zee TV scored 2.2 TVR over 3.5 hours.

The Double World Television Premiere of 'Son of Sardar' on Star Plus rated 4.5 TVR (9 PM) and 3.9 TVR (1 PM). The double premiere delivered 53 GRPs for Star Plus.

Weekday toppers

Colors' Balika Vadhu held the top slot in the 5th week of TAM 2013. The show averaged at 4.7 TVR this week (last week 4.2).

Diya Aur Baati Hum on Star Plus returned to No. 2 with an average TVR of 4.1 (last week 4.4).

SAB's Taarak Mehta ka Ooltah Chashma dropped to an average TVR of 4.0 against last week's 4.2 TVR after the closure of the Gulaboo track. The show slipped to No. 3 position this week.

Colors' other fiction show, Sasural Simar Ka, rose three positions to No. 4 this week and garnered an average TVR of 4.0 this week (last week 3.4).

Inclusion of 5 LC1 markets in the new HSM data has given a boost to Star Plus' fiction show, Saathiya, that jumped five positions to No. 5 in Week 5. The show averaged at 3.9 TVR this week (last week 3.8 with 5 new LC1 markets, 3.4 without LC1 markets).

Colors' Madhubala remained at No. 6 with an average TVR of 3.9 (last week 3.5).

Zee TV's Sapne Suhane Ladakpan Ke slipped two positions to No. 7 this week. The show recorded an average TVR of 3.8 (last week 4.2).

Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai on Star Plus slipped four positions to No. 8 this week. The show garnered an average rating of 3.7 TVR (last week 3.8).

Star Plus' Pyaar Ka Dard Hai continues to hold No. 9 with average TVR of 3.4 this week (last week 3.4).

Pavitra Rishta on Zee TV slipped two positions to No. 10 with an average of 3.3 TVR (last week 3.4).

 

Weekend toppers

Star Plus' Nach Baliye 5 moved up to No. 1 slot this week. The show grew by 60 per cent and fetched an average of 3.5 TVR (last week 2.2).

Colors' new comedy show, Nautanki, was the second most watched show during the week. The show opened strongly with an average TVR of 2.9.

Sony's crime show, Crime Patrol, recorded an average TVR of 2.9 (last week 1.6).

Sony's other crime show, CID, fetched 2.8 TVR this week (last week 2.6).

Comedy Circus ke Ajoobe on Sony averaged 2.7 TVR (last week 2.1).

Grand Finale of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa on Zee TV scored 2.2 TVR over 3.5 hours

Star Plus' crime fiction Arjun has fetched 1.9 TVR (last week 1.2).

Adalat on Sony fetched an average TVR of 1.5 this week (last week 1.3).

Fear Files on Zee TV dropped to an average rating of 1.2 TVR this week (last week 1.4).

Colors' crime show, Shaitan: The Criminal Mind, recorded an average TVR of 1.1 (last week 1.4).
