MTV Hero Roadies 10 premieres on Jan. 19

The tenth season of India's longest running reality show will be telecast every Saturday at 7 pm

MTV Hero Roadies X – Mauka hai, ya dhokha hai is all set to hit the television screens on 19th January every Saturday@7pm only on MTV. The epic 10th season sees the ultimate twist where the creator is being challenged by his very own creation, Raghu VS Rannvijay.

With the Roadies crew having travelled the length of the country to select 8 new Roadies to join Rannvijay, Raghu has handpicked his team of 8 with Roadies from the last 9 seasons. It isIndia's favourite television icon against the bad boy of Indian television. The scene is set for an epic battle. Starting 19th January the auditions episode will air on MTV; first stop is Pune, followed byChandigarh,HyderabadandDelhi.

As MTV Hero Roadies celebrates a decade it's time to dedicate the show to the fans of the country that have enjoyed it for so long and consistently supported the series. This season the title of Roadies will be fought and won inIndia, the place where it all started ten years back. MTV Hero Roadies will see an ultimate face off between Raghu and Rannvijay where only the strongest will live to tell the tale in the beautiful locales of the North East.

Raghu Ram, the producer of MTV Hero Roadies says, “This year Roadies completes a decade and I am excited that the season is finally airing on the television screen. This season the viewers are going to get to see a complete new concept, hard-hitting stunts and crazier contestants. In addition to this it's going to be Rannvijay and I against each other, which definitely is going to turn out to be more exciting and thrilling than ever before.

To celebrate the launch of this 10th season, MTV has launched a Roadies Anthem 'Jajabor' which means 'Traveler' in Assamese. The song has been written and sung by country's young star andAssam's heartthrob Papon. It also features powerful vocals from none other than Raghu Ram and captures the intensity of the North East, which is the backdrop for this season.

Over 9 years, with 500 million viewers on TV, 3,50,000 auditions, having travelled 5 continents, rated the most social TV show in the world, a highly engaged digital community, and a cult following among the youth the Roadies craze is all set to unleash. MTV Hero Roadies through its past seasons has always managed to enthral its audience with striking locations, challenging tasks and the drama revolving around the elimination and wild card entries. This season will see 16 contestants set themselves on an adventurous journey to prove their mettle and fight it out in the final battle for the title of the ultimate Roadie of Season 10.
