Discovery Science launches 'Designing Nature'

Starting January 6 2013, the ground breaking series will be telecast every Sunday at 9.00 pm

Discovery Science, the 24-hour channel available in Hindi and English, presents an insightful anthology, 'Designing Nature', comprising of two ground breaking series –Ecopolis and Eco-tech. The series offer revolutionary concepts and cutting edge technologies that might hold the key to reversing environmental destruction.

'Designing Nature' will air every Sunday at 9:00 p.m. starting January 6only on Discovery Science.

Ecopolis is not a real city but is a realistic vision of what our cities might look like by the year 2050. The series provides an in-depth analysis of the possible problems in the future megacities which might be dirty, polluted, running out of food, water and fuel, and prone to blackouts. Ecopolis is hosted by Nobel Prize winning scientist Dr. Daniel Kammen who investigates the threats and evaluates merits of the model to the future city and shares his views on how to reduce the carbon footprint.
