A Senior Editor and lead anchor of the business channel, Chopra announced her decision on Twitter

publive-imageShaili Chopra, Senior Editor, ET Now, has called it a day after spending three years with the business channel owned by Bennett, Coleman & Co. Ltd (BCCL). Chopra, also a lead anchor of ET Now, announced her move on Twitter yesterday evening with one of her tweets reading: “Hello people, moving on from ET Now, doing something new(s) and exciting - both in business and in media.”

The winner of the 2012 Ramnath Goenka Award for Excellence in Business Journalism, Chopra was anchoring ET Now's flagship shows 'Business Tonight' at 9 PM and 'Business Express' at 7.30 PM besides special programmes and interviews.

A Graduate in Economics, Chopra completed her master's degree in Broadcast and Television from The Asian College of Journalism, Chennai, and joined NDTV Profit in 2004. At NDTV Profit, she rose to become Senior News Editor – Corporate before she was made Markets & Corporate Affairs Editor at NDTV. Chopra quit this role after five months to join ET Now.
