publive-imageDID Little Masters that saw a surge in ratings this season has ended on a new high by fetching 8.0 TVR for the grand finale. The show also propelled Zee TV to the No. 1 position in Week 33 of TAM 2012 (August 12 – Aug 18), according to data sourced from TAM subscribers. The other highlights of weekend programming were Jhalak Dikkhla Ja on Colors and the launch of Zee TV's Ramayan. The episode of Jhalak with Salman Khan's guest appearance fetched 4.3 TVR while the show's average rating in Week 33 went up to 3.3 TVR. Zee's Ramayan opened at 2.7 TVR.

Among weekday shows, Star Plus continues to hold four positions in the top 10 list while Colors has two. While Life OK's Mahadev has made an entry to the top 10 club for the first time, Zee TV, Sony and SAB have one show each in the top 10 list.

Weekday shows

Retaining the top spot, Diya Aur Baati Hum on Star Plus has seen a spurt in ratings in Week 33 of TAM 2012. The show fetched 5.6 TVR (last week 4.8).

Colors' Balika Vadhu has strengthened its position at No. 2 and averaged 4.4 TVR (last week 4.0).

Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai on Star Plus has climbed one position to No. 3 this week with an average rating of 3.8 TVR (last week 3.3).

Colors' Sasural Simar Ka has also witnessed a jump in its ratings and position. The show is now at No. 4 with an average TVR of 3.8 (last week 3.3).

Sony's Bade Achche Lagte Hain has maintained its viewership ratings but slipped two positions to No. 5 this week. BALH has fetched an average of 3.7 TVR (last week 3.7).

Ek Hazaron Mein Meri Behna Hai on Star Plus remained at No. 6 and averaged 3.4 TVR (last week 3.1).

With some improvement in ratings, SAB's Tarak Mehta has climbed one position to No. 7 this week. The show has fetched an average of 3.3 TVR this week (last week 3.3).

At No. 8 is Star Plus' fiction show Saathiya that fetched an average TVR of 3.2 (last week 3.0).

Zee TV's Pavitra Rishta has slipped two positions to No. 9 this week. The show has fetched an average TVR of 2.9 (last week 3.1).

Life OK's Mahadev has made an entry to the top 10 club for the first time, coming in at No. 10 with 2.9 TVR.

Weekend toppers

Zee TV's DID Little Masters ruled weekend programming in Week 33 with the grand finale fetching 8.0 TVR. The show had fetched 7.5 TVR for its episode which had Salman Khan making a guest appearance. The show had an average 6.2 TVR in the previous week.

Sony's CID has recorded an average TVR of 3.5 TVR (last week 3.8).

Sony's other crime show, Crime Patrol, fetched 3.4 TVR this week (last week 4.0).

Colors' celebrity dance reality show, Jhalak Dikhhla Ja, has seen a surge in ratings this week. The episode of Jhalak with Salman Khan's guest appearance fetched 4.3 TVR while the show's average TVR went up to 3.3 (last week 2.6).

Zee TV's Fear Files has averaged at 2.8 TVR this week (last week 2.4).

Zee TV's Ramayan has opened at 2.7 TVR on August 12 at 11 am.

Indian Idol on Sony has garnered an average TVR of 1.8 TVR this week (last week 2.3).

Star Plus' new crime fiction Arjun has fetched average ratings of 1.3 TVR. The show opened at 2.3 TVR on August 11.
