publive-imageStar Plus has been restricted to four shows in the top 10 chart in Week 28 (July 8 – July 14), according to viewership data sourced from TAM subscribers. Colors has secured three spots followed by Zee TV with two and Sony with one show in weekday programming.

Sony's flagship fiction, Bade Achche Lagte Hain, has got a big boost with a five-year leap to make a grand entry to the top 5.

Zee TV ruled the weekend programming this week with DID Little Masters and Fear Files. Both the shows are growing bigger week by week.

Weekday shows

The No. 1 fiction show for the past several weeks, Star Plus' Diya Aur Baati Hum has strengthened its position with 5.9 TVR in the week 28 of TAM 2012 (last week 5.3).

After a marginal dip last week, Colors' Balika Vadhu has bounced back this week and fetched an average TVR of 4.3 (last week 3.9). It has retained its No. 2 position.

Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai on Star Plus has climbed up to 3rd position from last week's 5th. The show has improved its average rating to 3.8 TVR (last week 3.3).

The five-year leap has pushed Sony's Bade Achche Lagte Hain to the top  5 club. The show had entered the top 10 club last week. At No. 4 this week, the show has fetched an average of 3.7 TVR (last week 2.6).

Saathiya on Star Plus has climbed three positions to No. 5 this week. The show has averaged at 3.2 TVR (last week 2.8).

Colors' Uttaran has made a comeback to the top 10 list this week at No. 6. The show has garnered an average TVR of 3.2.

Ek Hazaron Mein Meri Behna Hai on Star Plus has slipped to No. 7 from last week's No. 3 position. The show has registered an average of 3.1 TVR (last week 3.7).

With improved average ratings, Zee TV's Pavitra Rishta has climbed to No. 8 this week. The show has fetched an average TVR of 3.0 (last week 2.8).

Zee TV's other fiction, Punar Vivah, has maintained its ratings at 3.0 TVR this week.

Colors' third fiction in top 10 list this week is Sasural Simar Ka which is at No. 10 with an average TVR of 2.9 (last week 3.0).

Weekend toppers

Zee TV is holding the nerves of audiences with DID Little Masters and Fear Files topping weekend shows across Hindi general entertainment channels. These weekend shows have helped the channel cross the 250-mark.

Zee TV's DID Little Masters has bounced back in Week 28 and averaged at 4.6 TVR (last week 3.7).

The second most watched weekend show is also from Zee TV. Its recently launched horror show Fear Files has averaged at 4.0 TVR this week (last week 3.5).

Sony's crime show CID has climbed two positions at No. 3 this week. It recorded an average TVR of 3.8 TVR (last week 3.3).

CID is followed by Sony's other crime show, Crime Patrol, which has fetched 3.4 TVR this week (last week 3.7).

The simulcast ratings of the original episode of Satyamev Jayate aired on Sunday, July 8, 2012 at 11 AM across nine channels (Star Plus, Star Pravah, Star Jalsha, Star World, Star Utsav, Star Vijay, Asianet, ETV Telegu and Doordarshan) has fetched an average TVR of 2.7 (last week 3.1).

Colors' Jhalak Dikhhla Ja has bounced back this week to record an average TVR of 2.5 (last week 1.8).

Indian Idol on Sony has also gained a few eyeballs this week with improved ratings at 2.3 TVR this week (last week 2.0).
