SET appoints Vivek Bahl as Chief Creative Director

Sony Entertainment Television (SET) has appointed Vivek Bahl as Chief Creative Director. In this role, he will be responsible for the overall programming of the channel. He will be reporting to Sneha Rajani, Senior Executive Vice-President & Business Head - Channel SET.

Bahl is an industry veteran with over 25 years of experience in the entertainment industry. Prior to joining SET, he had a two-month stint with Viacom18 which he had joined in May 2012 as Network Advisor Content. He had moved to Viacom18 from Turner International where he was Chief Content Officer for six months, overseeing the content strategy and development for Turner's entertainment brands in India. These included Imagine TV, Cartoon Network, Pogo and Warner Brothers.

Prior to his appointment with Turner, Bahl was Executive Creative Director for Star Network and before that, Senior Creative Director- Fiction, Star Plus and Star One. He had also worked with Zee TV as Creative Director.

Bahl has worked on a number of hit fiction and non-fiction shows such as Banegi Apni Baat, Sa Re Ga Ma Pa, Antakshari, Jassi Jaisi Koi Nahi, Saath Phere, Banoo Main Teri Dulhan, Betiyaan, Bidaai, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlaata Hai, Pratigya and Saath Nibhaana Saathiya.
