Red FM ropes in Vidyut Patra as Mumbai Station Head
He spent his last four years at Viacom 18 handling various responsibilities for MTV

Red FM 93.5 has appointed Vidyut Patra as Station Head for its Mumbai station. He will be responsible for strengthening the revenue stream and the brand for the Mumbai station. Patra will report to Nisha Narayanan, Senior VP, Projects & Programming, Red FM.
Commenting on his appointment, Narayanan said, “Vidyut has extensive experience across revenue, brand and content domains and will add immense value to the station and the brand. We are delighted to have Vidyut on board and look forward to his work at Red FM.”
Vidyut said about his new role, “I'm very excited to come on board and given Red FM Mumbai's history of exceptional talent and genre-defining content, I look forward to further strengthening the 'Bajate Raho' proposition of the brand and the exciting times which lie ahead.”
Patra comes from a strong broadcasting background. He spent his last four years at Viacom 18 handling various responsibilities for MTV, prior to which he has been with INX Media and Star India.
