Celebrating the year’s best in digital advertising from across the globe, One Show Interactive began as a One Show competition category in 1998. In its 14 year, the awards competition has become a vanguard event, recognizing the achievements of digital advertising creatives and promoting excellence in advertising worldwide.
“With the fast pace evolution of digital, in general, One Show Interactive quarterly submissions help to eliminate the time constraints which often occur by having to enter work all at once for awards consideration,” said Mike Geiger, JWT North America President & Chief Integration Office. “The quarterly process also enables judges to view and discuss the work in smaller groups of entries, which can help increase the chances of becoming a finalist.”
This year’s One Show Interactive competition features eight categories including Websites & Microsites; Mobile Applications/Sites; Interactive Advertising; Online Films and Video; Integrated Branding; Craft; Social Media and Brand Transformation.
“Agencies have been cultivating a love of web design for years,” said Kevin Swanepoel, President and interim CEO at The One Club, the world’s foremost nonprofit organization whose mission is to champion excellence in advertising and the annual producer of the One Show awards. “With the quality of digital projects being released we’ve moved to a higher level. While all advertising starts with an idea, with the remarkable technologies available today interactive advertising can do so much more.”
