A teen licensed to say, “Take your clothes off and lie down!” Yes, he's back... Neil Patrick Harris in and as... Doogie Howser M.D.! Premiering Saturday, June 23rd, the epic series will air at 1 pm, weekends, on Comedy Central.

A teenage kid, Doogie Howser, is a genius and has finished school at an early age making him a qualified doctor in his teen years. He also has to deal with the usual problems of growing up: having a girlfriend, going to parties, hanging out with his best friend, all this on top of being a licensed physician in a difficult hospital environment.

Doogie's best friend Vinnie is his partner in crime and the two share a close bond. Juggling his life as a full time physician, Doogie also has a girlfriend named Wanda who is supportive of his career and helps him out in whatever way she can. Doogie is not a nerd; he simply is a teen genius who helps people as a doctor and deals with his own teenage struggles on the way. Howser seeks acceptance by his professional colleagues and others his age. The show also deals with some social issues like AIDS awareness, racism, homophobia, sexism, violence, access to quality medical care, body issues and of course friendship.
