Jayaraman has over 11 years of work experience in advertising. In his previous role he was the creative head for the India business on Radiant (RIN), Smirnoff, Amit Enterprises and Ahuja Constructions. He led Radiant to 5/5 in the agency review, a never-before achievement in the Unilever portfolio. He has also worked on some very popular brands and campaigns for The Times of India, Set Max, Godrej, Kingfisher, PepsiCo, Nestle, GSK (Horlicks and Boost), ESPN Star Sports, Ford, Pizza Hut, KFC, Hero Honda, Ford, Reebok and Unitech.

On joining Grey, Jayaraman said, “I'm excited about my new innings. It's a big decision for both Grey and me, and the good thing is that it feels very right. Malvika, Amit and Jishnu are passionately committed to excellence and look at work as something personal – I would like to believe we're on the same page there. I look forward to partnering Sham and Hari, and I think the Gods are on our side. Lastly, and very importantly, I would also like to thank JWT for teaching me my craft, and I hope to do everyone proud.”

Before Jayaraman's appointment, Ramachandran and Vishnu Srivatsav had together spearheaded the creative duties for Grey in the southern region. Grey India has seen some fabulous work coming from its South market for clients like Britannia, Bharti AXA, UB Wines, ITC, to name a few.

Srivatsav, after building a robust creative force in the South, has now moved to Mumbai as Executive Creative Director and Creative Head, Batey (a Grey group company). His responsibility is to build a strong creative structure for Batey in Mumbai.

In his over 12 years in advertising, Srivatsav has worked on brands like Sony, Citizen, Club Mahindra, Lee, Kitchens of India, Aircel, Sabena, Kiwi Shoe Polish, Britannia, Scotch Brite, Fortis Hospitals, Deccan 360, Bharti AXA, Intex Mobiles, National Geographic Channel, Honda Brio and Dell. He's won a couple of One Show merits, along with a few bronzes and a couple of silvers at the Abbies, a gold at the Emvies, and has been featured in the Grey Book, a collection of the best work from Grey across the world, twice. In the last year, he was part of the team that launched Honda Brio, relaunched Britannia Rusk, and his work for Bharti AXA won a bronze at the Goafest 2012 and an Effie nomination.

Commenting on his new role, Srivatsav said, “It's been six years in Bangalore and it has been one heck of a journey. I guess it's time to start again and I'm excited about this opportunity to start afresh in a new city and a brand new agency even while retaining the comfort of the Grey network. My thanks to all our clients for their faith in me, and my fellow travelers, Hari and Sham, for their tolerance.”

Malvika Mehra,  National Creative Director and EVP, Grey India, said, “Vishnu is a fabulous writer with a great attitude. He's been with Grey for over nine years now and worked at most of our offices – Chennai, Bangalore and Delhi. It's great to have him in Mumbai now. Apart from Batey Ads, he's going to be involved in new business pitches for Grey and we're sure he'll deliver on both counts.”

Amit Akali, National Creative Director and EVP, Grey India, added, “Some of our best work has been happening in the South, be it the Bharati Axa film or the new Britannia Rusk TVC; good, popular work on big brands. That's just the kind of work that Ram's been doing. We're sure that the new team of Ram and Sham, along with Hari (Hari Krishnan – Branch Head, Grey South) will take our Southern offices to even greater heights.”
