GEC Watch: Colors returns to No. 2; Life OK overtakes SAB TV

Colors shares the No. 2 position with Zee TV with 213 GRPs each in Week 20 of TAM 2012; Life OK touches 123 GRPs

After a gap of several weeks, Colors has made a comeback to the No. 2 position, according to the TAM data for Week 20. The channel is sharing the position with Zee TV with 213 GRPs. The jump in GRPs of Colors is backed by its flagship fiction show Balika Vadhu which fetched 5 TVR for its 1000th episode.

Interestingly, Life OK has overtaken SAB TV to become No. 5 this week with 123 GRPs for the first time since the launch of the channel.

Star Plus continues to rule the genre despite a decline this week. The channel has recorded 262 GRPs (last week 276).

Fetching 5 TVR for its 1,000th episode, Balika Vadhu has pushed Colors to No. 2. The channel has recorded 213 GRPs (last week 201).

By losing 11 GRPs this week, Zee TV is sharing the No. 2 position with Colors. It recorded 213 GRPs (last week 224).

Sony Entertainment Television has been pushed to No. 4 this week with 210 GRPs (last week 217).

Life OK has seen a surprise jump this week and overtaken SAB TV to become No. 5 GEC. The channel has fetched 123 GRPs (last week 91).

SAB TV has lost 18 GRPs this week. The channel has garnered 116 GRPs against last week's 134 GRPs.

Sahara One remains at 39 GRPs this week (last week 40).
