ONGC calls for creative pitch

Oil & Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) has called for a pitch for its creative duties. The pitch process would involve participation by around 25 agencies from the latest available ET-Brand Equity Agency Reckoner. ONGC's annual ad spend is around Rs 30 crore annually.
The presentations would be held in first week of March and the selection process would be over well before end-March. The gas exploration major plans to bring on board its creative agency from April 1, 2012. The presentations would be held in Delhi.
The company, meanwhile, is also in midst of merging its regional and corporate entities, it is reliably learnt.
Agencies that are currently empanelled by ONGC include RK Swamy BBDO, Percept and Saatchi & Saatchi. According to sources, ONGC calls for a creative pitch every two to three years. The agencies currently on the roster were empanelled in 2010.
