Discovery Science to start new show 'Sportstar Insider'

Hosted by Australian rugby league legend Andrew 'ET' Ettingshausen, the show will reveal how athletes stay at the top of their game

Discovery Science channel is bringing a new programme, 'Sportstar Insider', that reveals the techniques, secrets and advanced technologies that provide top athletics their performance-enhancing edge. The show will be hosted by former Australian rugby league legend, Andrew 'ET' Ettingshausen, as he dives into the world of extreme sports. Sportstar Insider will be telecast on Saturdays at 9.30 PM starting February 18, 2012.

Ettingshausen explores new heights and depths in the world of extreme aquatic and aerial sports through the eyes of sporting legends such as All Blacks Captain Richie McCaw, World Champion surfer Tom Carroll, champion free diver Ant Williams and Portugal's Redbull Challenge winner Matt Hall.

While the first episode of Sportstar Insider shows Ettingshausen attempting death defying aquatic sports including surfing, kite surfing, high-speed sailing, competitive swimming and free diving with Tom Carroll and Ant Williams, the other episode captures Ettingshausen taking on competitive aviation with Richie McCaw and Matt Hall.
