Commenting on the launch, Rahul Johri, SVP & GM – South Asia, Discovery Networks Asia Pacific said, “Providing variety has always been our main focus. Mystery Hunters has been running quite successfully in U.S. and India is a land full of mysteries and kids no matter where are very curious about their surroundings. The idea behind starting an Indian production is to entertain our viewers with localized content as well, along with international content as we always believe content is what draws interest of audience. “With regards to marketing the campaign he added, “We always believe in spending wisely instead of spending widely. Through our upcoming Mystery Hunters School contest program, we aim at reaching around 10,000 school kids across the country. “

Initially the channel was available only on Tata Sky but now they are available all across the country through Tata Sky, Airtel, DTH, Reliance and Videocon and has started localizing through our first Indian production Mystery Hunters. To promote the series, Discovery Kids has launched a contest for the viewers based on the mysteries captured in Mystery Hunters India.
