BIG Magic & Spark Punjabi announce reality show 'Big Fame Star'

Gurmeet Choudhary and Tisca Chopra to judge India's first-ever ticket to stardom for the Hinterland

Reliance Broadcast Network's regional general entertainment channels, BIG Magic and Spark Punjabi, announce the launch of India's first-ever ticket to stardom for the Hinterland with BIG Fame Star, a hunt for the youth star in the markets of Central India and Punjab. The show has been conceptualized with the aim of reaching out to the youth in the smallest towns to realize their dreams of make it big in the world of entertainment. The winner of 'BIG Fame Star' will get instant fame and recognition through this unique opportunity to make their grand debut in the world of entertainment.

The Channel has ensured some of the most reputed celebrities from India's national entertainment fraternity are associated with the show, adding to the glamour and aspiration quotient! Television's well known actor Gurmeet Choudhary and renowned actress Tisca Chopra will judge the participants. Adding to the glitz and glamour on the show, BIG MAGIC has roped in popular television actor Rithvik Dhanjani as the host of the show while SPARK PUNJABI's edition will be hosted by Misha Bajwa Chaudhary.

Following the local auditions, 50 contestants from each region will be shortlisted to participate in the Mega audition. At this stage, 16 finalists will be selected per region for the galas and they will undergo intense training and grooming to become the 'BIG Fame Star'. With on-ground auditions to be held across 12 cities in Central India and 6 cities in Punjab 'BIG Fame Star' will reach out to the aspiring talent lacking a platform and faced with challenges of competing with talent at the metro level.

BIG Fame Star will be promoted extensively via a multi-media integrated marketing approach through mediums which include print, television, radio, out of home, digital, on-ground activations amongst others.
