IBN7 honours superheroes of Paralympics at fourth edition of Super Idols

The grand finale of the award ceremony will be held in Mumbai on Sunday, November 25, 2012

While London 2012 gave India its best-ever Olympic medal tally, it also proved to be a success for disabled sports in India. A contingent of 10 differently abled athletes presented their country with a silver medal at this year's Paralympic Games, its first in the high jump event. To celebrate this achievement, IBN7, in partnership with Supertech, announced the fourth edition of Super Idols. These awards recognize achievers with special abilities who have soared beyond physical disability and proved that no challenge is bigger than one's beliefs.

This year, chief guest Salman Khan will felicitate 10 Indian athletes who participated in the London Paralympics 2012. The grand finale of the award ceremony will be held in Mumbai on November 25^th, 2012.

IBN7 Super Idols adheres to a unique process of selection where the IBN Network Editorial Board, drawn from the editorial teams of IBN7, CNN-IBN and IBN-Lokmat, deliberate to finalize these icons, keeping in mind their sterling contribution.

The inspirational stories of these heroes will be showcased on IBN7 in a special series that will be telecast from Nov 25, every Sunday @ 5:30PM with a repeat telecast on Monday @ 4:30PM.
