publive-imageIn terms of number of shows in weekday programming, Week 39 (September 23 - September 29) of TAM 2012 seems to have been dominated by Colors where the channel has acquired five spots for the first time in recent years. India's No. 1 Hindi GEC, Star Plus is also back with four shows with stronger ratings for Diya Aur Baati Hum. Sony's Bade Achche Lagte Hain and Life OK's Mahadev are other two shows in the top 10 list.

According to data sourced from TAM subscribers, among weekend shows, India's Got Talent continues to garner more eyeballs than Kaun Banega Crorepati for the second week in a row. The grand finale of DID Superkids fetched 3.9 TVR while the grand finale of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa scored 3.5 TVR. Zee TV's iconic singing reality show Sa Re Ga Ma Pa opened at 2.5 TVR on September 29.

Weekday shows

With stronger ratings, Diya Aur Baati Hum on Star Plus remains the chart topper. The show fetched an average TVR of 6.7 in Week 39 (last week 6.0).

Colors' Balika Vadhu is back at No. 2 with an average TVR of 4.1 (last week 4.5).

Sony's flagship fiction show Bade Achche Lagte Hain has slipped to No. 3. The show garnered an average of 3.7 TVR (last week 4.7).

At No. 4, Star Plus' fiction show Saathiya has fetched an average TVR of 3.6 (last week 3.7).

Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai on Star Plus has witnessed surge in rating and the show continues to be among top 5 fiction shows for the second week in a row. The show has recorded an average rating of 3.4 TVR (last week 3.1).

Colors' Sasural Simar Ka is at No. 6 with an average of 3.3 TVR (last week 2.8).

Is Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon on Star Plus is back in the top 10 club with an average TVR of 3.0 (last week 2.4).

Colors' Madhubala has made it to the top 10 list for the first time since its launch and acquired No. 8 position this week. The show has fetched an average of 2.8 TVR this week.

Another fiction on Colors, Uttaran, has recorded 2.8 TVR (last week 2.7).

Colors's Parichay and Life OK's Mahadev share the No. 10 position with an average of 2.7 TVR.

 

Weekend toppers

Among weekend shows, the grand finale of Zee TV's DID Superkids on Sunday, September 23, fetched 3.9 TVR.

Colors' India's Got Talent remained at No. 2 in the second week an average of 3.1 TVR. The show opened at 4.1 TVR last week.

Severely hit by the ongoing ICC T20 World Cup, KBC 2012 on Sony is at No. 3 with an average of 2.9 TVR (last week 3.9).

Colors' celebrity dance reality show, Jhalak Dikhhla Ja, ended with an average of 2.9 TVR this week (last week 2.8). The grand finale episode aired on Saturday, September 29 fetched 3.5 TVR.

Sony's crime show CID has recorded an average TVR of 2.8 (last week 3.4).

Sony's other crime show, Crime Patrol, fetched 2.5 TVR this week (last week 2.9).

Zee TV's flagship singing reality show Sa Re Ga Ma Pa has opened at 2.5 TVR.

Fear Files on Zee TV has averaged at 2.0 TVR this week (last week 2.7).

Star Plus' crime fiction Arjun has fetched average ratings of 1.6 TVR (last week 1.5).

Zee TV's Ramayan fetched 1.2 TVR this week.
