Rashmi Putcha, Co-founder of Redeye Media, a full service agency focused on educational institutes, and Binary EDGE, a vocational marketing training company, has launched Digital Marketing and Training Institute (DMTI) of India. DMTI, as the name suggests, will be focused on building the next level of talent pool for the digital marketing industry in the country.

DMTI will be offering multiple categories of training programmes across short-term and medium durations directly and has tied up with the likes of ITM group of institutions and NIIT Imperia for partnering their long-term courses and certifying students appearing for these courses. With an impressive board of advisors, DMTI has been launched to offer quality digital marketing education to aspiring students and marketers alike to meet the requirements of today's connected ecosystem.

Putcha said, “The logo for the institute reflects the connection with the tree of knowledge while serving the complex needs of the digital marketing communication industry, which branches out into multiple functions reflecting the multiple arms of education such as social media, search marketing, search optimisation, mobile marketing, media planning, analytics, etc.”

“DMTI has already trained over 1,000 professionals so far and has successfully been able to place some of these students at some of the leading digital marketing companies.”

DMTI has also successfully brought leading industry stalwarts like Kiruba Shankar, Vivek Bhargava, Madan Sanglikar, Neena Dasgupta as industry trainers for its various courses. It is an industry partnership where leading digital professionals are coming together to help build the quality manpower for the industry under an organised player with a strategic approach to deliver a product which is closest to what is desired by the industry.

Putcha further said, “The digital marketing industry is expected to become a $1 billion market by 2016. This growth will be shortlived if the industry does not have quality manpower to offer and manage the requirements for marketers. As per our internal assessment, the industry will require over 15,000 new employees each year. Those currently employed will need to be re-skilled in the evolving digital ecosystem. This presents a massive challenge for the industry and DMTI aims to meet this challenge.”
