Close on the heels of the resignation of NP Sathyamurthy, there is further bad news emerging from Lintas Media Group. According to informed sources, three senior management officials are leant to have put in their papers. They are Himanka Das, Vice-President, Karishma Initiative, Joydeep Raha, VP, LMG Bangalore, and Srinivasan Muthukumarasamy, Senior VP, LMG Chennai. Their next destination remains unknown at the moment.

The sources inform that their departures are likely to happen between the first and third week of February 2012.

Das and Muthukumarasamy report to Sathyamurthy, COO of Lintas Media Group and CEO for Karishma Initiative. Sathya will be joining Mudra Max Media as President and Head in April. He is currently serving out his notice period.

Raha is the branch head of LMG's Bangalore office and reports to Sudha Natrajan, CEO, Lintas Initiative Media.

It may be noted that recently Suresh Balakrishnan, former COO of Mail Today, joined Lintas as CEO though his exact role is yet to be specified.

Prior to his current assignment, Das has worked at various agencies including Madison, Initiative, Ulka Media and Starcom. Over the years, he has handled clients like P&G, Unilever, Coke, Maruti, Jyothy Laboratories, Samsonite and BPCL. He is best known for the launch Axe deodorant brand in India almost a decade back.

Raha had joined LMG in 2003 and has over 15 years of domain expertise in media and communications across FMCG, consumer durables, retail, luxury and lifestyle brands, financial services, IT services, travel and leisure, healthcare and education sectors. He started his career at Bates Clarion in 1998, and then moved to Enterprise Nexus in June 2000.

In his two-decade plus career, Muthukumarasamy started his career at Mudra Communications as System Analyst. This was followed by stints at Chaitra Leo Burnett, TBWA India and Mudra Radar. He has led the team that handled the Reliance Power IPO in Jan 2008, Reliance Big TV launch in August 2008 and Reliance GSM launch in May 2009.
