Gadgil comes here from Baush and Lomb India where he headed the Marketing function

NIVEA India Pvt. Ltd., an affiliate of Beiersdorf AG, has appointed Sunil Gadgil as the Marketing Director of the Indian Operations. Gadgil headed the Marketing function Bausch and Lomb India ltd in his last role.
Gadgil is a Mechanical Engineer and alumni of Symbiosis Institute of Business Management and brings along with him 14 years of experience of which over 10 years have been spent in the marketing function across hair & personal care, vision care, household care and credit cards. He began his career with Sales at Asian Paints and had thereafter handled various roles in Marketing with Marico, Godrej Sara Lee and GE Money.
In his previous role at Baush and Lomb India where he headed the Marketing function he was responsible for marketing & trade marketing strategy for the Vision Care business, he also lead a global task force for creating the ‘Emerging Markets’ value propositions for the brand.
