Star Plus retains leadership with 5 shows in Top 10 list

In the second week of TAM 2012, Star Plus has held on to its leadership position on the strength of five of its shows in the top 10 programme list against six shows in the last week. However, Diya Aur Baati Hum has beaten Saathia which was running on top of the charts for the past several weeks. During January 8 to January 14, 2012, Diya Aur Baati Hum has fetched a whopping 5.99 TVR (last week 5.98) while Saathia has garnered 5.81 TVR (last week 6.6).

Colors's Balika Vadhu has replaced Sony's CID at 3rd position garnering 4.91 TVR (last week 4.76).

Three of Sony's shows remain among the top 10 programmes in the second week too. However, its crime show CID has slipped to No. 4 with 4.7 TVR (last week 4.97).

Another fiction show on Star Plus, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, has displaced Sony's Crime Patrol from No. 5. Yeh Rishta has garnered 4.3 TVR this week (last week 4.38).

Bade Achhe Lagte Hain on Sony has gone up at No. 6 with 4.07 TVR in Week 2 of TAM 2012 (last week 3.86).

Sony's Crime Patrol retains its position in the top 10 list but has slipped to No. 7 position from last week's No. 5. The show has fetched 3.85 TVR this week (last week 4.41).

Star Plus' Ek Hazaron Mein Meri Behna Hai has climbed to No. 8 with 3.67 TVR (last week 3.69). Its two shows, Survivor India and Is Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon, are out from the top 10 list this week.

SAB's top running show Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashma has made an entry to the top 10 list. The show is at No. 9 with 3.64 TVR.

At No.10 is Pratigya from Star Plus with 3.58 TVR this week.
