The award was given to Shaili Chopra in the presence of Shri Hamid Ansari, Honorable Vice President of India at New Delhi. Ramnath Goenka award stands for its values which describes ethical journalism: excellence & enterprise, courage & fairness. The awards cover the entire gamut of Indian media, Print & Broadcast, in English & Indian languages.

The 'Business and Economic Journalism (Broadcast)' Award is a testament to ET NOW and Shaili Chopra's credibility, integrity and journalistic excellence in consistently providing news and analysis that is accurate, unbiased, uninfluenced to its viewers.

Awards & recognitions are not new to Shaili Chopra who in the past has won the 'Best News Reporter' in the 'News Television Awards' in 2007 and her golf show 'Business on Course' won the 'News Television Award for best Lifestyle Feature' in 2008, while FICCI announced her as the 'Women's Achiever in Media' for year 2010.
