Zee Salaam lines-up special programming during Ramzaan

Zee Salaam is all set to make the Holy Month of Ramzaan as grand and comprehensive as possible through its customized and innovative content on the channel. The channel would showcase special programmes for its viewers from Sehri in the morning till Taraveeh, late in the night. ZEE SALAAM is the first 24 hour Urdu infotainment satellite television channel, dedicated to Urdu language and Islamic Culture. It caters to the Islamic, cultural and lifestyle needs of the Muslim community.

Continuing its tradition of providing the most relevant and topical content, Zee Salaam will be bringing forth the fervor and festivity of Ramzaan this year too. Ramzaan, as the viewers are aware, is the holy Islamic month wherein people fast for the sake of Allah and offer special prayers.

This year Zee Salaam's customized content, under the umbrella name 'Ramzaan Mubarak', will showcase programmes on the Holy Scriptures of Islam, teachings of The Allah and the Messengers of Allah besides a mix of holy and festive programmes. The varied programming mix shall cater to all the age groups including senior citizens, women, children, adults and the youth.

For the entire month, Ramzaan-specific content would be showcased on the channel throughout the day, even on its regular programs. There would be special Quran Recitals in 'Dars-e-Quran', Blessings in 'Dars-e-Hadith',  Sehri, Tarweeh & Esha Namaz, Talk Shows highlighting importance and Do's & Don'ts for the month etc. 'Ramzaan Aaj' would bring in the flavour of Ramzaan from all the major cities across the nation. Ramzaan based Mushairas, Quwwalis, Food Show highlighting the special delicacies during Ramzaan, LIVE Taraweeh from major Masjids across the nation, LIVE Iftaar parties from select cities of the country would be showcased besides LIVE happenings from the Holy Mecca. To add to this, audience would be served with the Hamd's and Naat's in the melodious voice of Waris Baig.
