Star Plus holds 5 spots in weekday shows; Sony's CID leads weekend programming
Colors has three fiction shows, Zee TV has two and Sony has one show in the top 10 weekday shows in Week 23

Starting this week, BestMediaInfo.com brings the weekly chart toppers segregated on the basis of weekday shows and weekend programming, the reason being that it may not be fair to compare the average of 4-5 shows of a serial during weekdays with the average of 1-2 shows of weekend shows. The analysis is based on data sourced from TAM subscribers for Week 23 (June 3 – June 9).
Weekday shows
Star Plus leads the Top 10 chart with five fiction shows followed by Colors with three, Zee TV with two and Sony Entertainment Television with one show. There are three shows with an average of 2.6 TVR for No. 9 and 10 positions.
Diya Aur Baati Hum on Star Plus holds the No. 1 spot. The show has fetched an average of 5.1 TVR.
Saathiya on Star Plus averaged at 3.9 this week and remained the second most watched show during the week.
Colors' Balika Vadhu holds the third spot with an average TVR of 3.5 this week.
Ek Hazaron Mein Meri Behna Hai on Star Plus is at No. 4 this week. The show has fetched an average of 3.2 TVR.
At No. 5 is Sony's top running fiction show, Bade Achhe Lagte Hain. The show has averaged 3.1 TVR this week.
Star Plus' other fiction show, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, is at No. 6. The show garnered an average of 2.9 TVR.
At No.7 is another Star Plus show, Is Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon. It has fetched 2.8 TVR this week.
Zee TV's Punarvivah holds the 8th spot with an average TVR of 2.8 this week.
There are three shows – Pavitra Rishta on Zee TV, Uttaran and Madhubala on Colors – with an average of 2.6 TVR this week.
Weekend toppers
Sony's flagship crime show, CID, rules the weekend programming with an average of 3.7 TVR in the week 23.
The simulcast ratings of the original episode of Satyamev Jayate aired on Sunday, June 3, 2012 at 11 AM across nine channels (Star Plus, Star Pravah, Star Jalsha, Star World, Star Utsav, Star Vijay, Asianet, ETV Telegu and Doordarshan) has fetched an average TVR of 3.6.
Zee TV's DID Little Masters has averaged at 3.3 TVR this week and remained the second most watched show during the weekend.
Sony's second crime show, Crime Patrol, has fetched an average of 3.2 TVR.
Indian Idol on Sony Entertainment Television is picking up steadily and notched up 2.3 TVR this week.
The Star Plus show on real life stories, Gumrah, that airs on Saturdays and Sundays at 8 PM, has fetched an average TVR of 1.
The singing reality show showcasing the most outstanding talent across singing reality shows in the past few years, Jo Jeeta Wohi Superstar, on Star Plus has averaged at 0.8 TVR this week.
