Deepak Lamba, who had quit Bloomberg UTV in April this year, has joined Bennett, Coleman & Company Ltd (BCCL) as President of a new company in the area of financial education. He will also set up businesses in the area of B2B Events/Conferences, Newswire Indices and Services.
Lamba will report to Vineet Jain, Managing Director, BCCL. To be based in Mumbai, Lamba will work closely with BCCL's shareholder group.
Lamba has 13 years experience in the media industry, having previously worked with Hungama, MTV Networks and Viacom Brand Solutions. In his last assignment, he was Business Head at Bloomberg UTV.
