Milestone Brandcom on major hiring spree

The primary areas of appointment are Milestone OOH And Milestone Connect, which will further enhance the service management and capabilities of the group

Going ahead with its proactive investment approach, OOH brand communications agency Milestone Brandcom has made 30 appointments across senior and middle management positions. The primary areas of appointment are Milestone OOH And Milestone Connect, which will further enhance the service management and capabilities of the group to enable brands to differentiate and emerge stronger in the consumers’ mind.

These appointments also complement Milestone Brandcom’s long-term growth strategy with its recently expanded service portfolio including Milestone Connect and Milestone Last Mile.

Today Milestone Brandcom has over 70 established brands in its kitty – Tata Docomo, Colors, McDonald’s, Binani Cement, Viacom 18, Axis Bank, L’Oreal, HDFC Mutual Fund, Dish TV, DSP Blackrock and Franklyn Templeton to name a few.

Nabendu Bhattacharyya, Founder & Managing Director, Milestone Brandcom, said, “In just two years we have reached a stage where we are one of the leading agencies in the country. We have already touched the Rs 200-crore plus mark in turnover. This year we will try and offer our existing clients more solutions and we will continue to expand our services. Ranbir Singh has joined Milestone Connect as Business Head & VP – Operations. With over 12 years of experience in the event industry, he has handled innumerable events and marketing promotional activities, providing a strategic role in several brand building campaigns and proved to be an effective leader in a large number of national campaigns. In his new role he will build and nurture strategic client relations, developan effective team to ensure consistent delivery and help the organisation achieve top line revenues. Prior to joining Milestone Connect, Singh has worked with Innuendo Communications, Candid Marketing Services and Kidstuff Promotions in various capacities.

Kaushik Chakraborty has come on board Milestone Brandcom as AVP - Client Servicing and 360 Integration. With 12 years’ experience, he blends a proactive approach with in-depth experience having worked on brands such as Canara HSBC OBC Life Insurance, Viacom 18, ABP, Sahara, Radio city, Fever FM, UTV, Movies now, Big FM, Apollo Munich, Intex, Monte Carlo, Sony India, Naco, Aircel, Yamaha and Michelin. Prior to joining Milestone Brandcom, he has worked with Mudra Max, L&T (Komatsu) and Selvel.

DhruvJugran has joined Milestone Connect as Group Director - Brand Communication. He has an experience of over 10 years with agencies like Candid Marketing, Ogilvy & Mather and RK Swamy BBDO. With experience in logistic planning and relationship building, he has proven his mettle with creative execution on global brands like Yahoo!, Nestle, Pepsi, NSN, Micromax, and Samsung.

John Barretto has come on board as Management Supervisor, Milestone Brandcom. His vast knowledge and established relationships within the industry will greatly strengthen the agency’s service capabilities in delivering communication solutions with speed and scale. Barretto has over 10 years of industry experience, having worked in agencies like Bates 141 and Ogilvy & Mather in addition to OMI (a division of Laqshya Media) and Arkom Advertising. He also spearheaded the Vodafone Gujarat Team, and singlehandedly launched Vodafone in MPCG circle. Some of the notable clients he has worked on include HSBC, Cadbury India, Future Group, SBI Mutual Fund, Travel & Living, Star India, Kotak Mahindra, Hindustan Times, Radio Mirchi.Zee TV, HDFC Group and Shaw Wallace.

Swati Ratnakar has joined Milestone Connect as Creative & Content Director - Planning. She has eight years of experience including more than three years in DDB Mudra and has worked on brands like Pepsi, Philips, Aircel, Yamaha, Volkswagen, Canon, MSD and Apollo Life. She has also won many awards for her work on Lemon Pattalam, Slice Bus, Dew Extreme and Philips Newspaper Conference. Prior to joining the agency business, Ratnakar had worked as a journalist with the India Today Group, 360 Degrees and TIC Integrated Marketing. S

YashVardhanVerma is the new Director, Brand Communication, at Milestone Connect. He comes with seven years of experience with more than three years in Ogilvy where he worked extensively on Vodafone and then moved to DDB Mudra to work on telecom and FMCG clients like Diet Pepsi and Aircel. He played an important role in developing the brand Vodafone when it shifted from pink to red and was deeply involved in eight circle launches of Aircel.

Gaurav Singh Chauhan has joined as Senior Manager, Brand Communications, Milestone Connect. He has over six years of experience in the event industry having worked with agencies like Brilliant Entertainment, Wizcraft and RK Swamy/Hansa Group. He has worked as a Strategic Planner and Servicing Manager for brands like Aircel, Nokia, Yahoo!, Suzuki Motorcycles, NDTV, Nestle, Micromax, LG Electronics, Samsung and GE.

Besides the new additions, Ravi Ambrose, Senior VP Integration & New Initiatives, has been given additional charge of South India operations while Prashant Mishra has moved up as Regional Head North, Milestone OOH.
