GEC Watch: DID Little Masters propel Zee TV to No. 2

The reality show fetches whopping average of 6.2 TVR; Star Plus leads the genre but Sony pushed to No. 3 in Week 18 of TAM 2012

Zee TV's reality show 'DID Little Masters' has broken all records by any reality show in recent times by averaging 6.2 TVR in the show's second week. The show that opened at 5.78 TVR has established Zee TV at No. 2 this week. Sony Entertainment Television has been pushed down to No. 3 position with a loss of 20 GRPs in Week 18 of TAM 2012.

Star Plus continues as the genre leader while Colors has not seen any change. The channel has added a few GRPs for the second consecutive week to record 262 GRPs (last week 255).

The outstanding dance performances by kids have helped DID Little Masters attract record breaking eyeballs. After opening at 5.78 TVR, the show has averaged at 6.2 TVR on TAM people meters to propel Zee TV to the No.2 position. The channel recorded 239 GRPs this week (last week 210).

Sony Entertainment Television has slipped to No. 3 position with a loss of 20 GRPs this week. Sony has garnered 220 GRPs this week (last week 240).

Colors is stable at 195 GRPs (last week 195).

SAB TV has lost further to record 104 GRPs this week (last week 110).

Life OK has added a few GRPs this week to record 85 GRPs (last week 83).

Sahara One has slipped to 41 GRPs this week (last week 43).
