Rahul Kulshreshtha joins back TV Today to head operations

Makes a comeback after a gap of 5 years; he will join on May 1, 2012 and will report to Joy Chakraborthy, CEO, TV Today

TV Today Network Limited has appointed Rahul Kulshreshtha as Head – Operations. He is joining on May 1, 2012 and will report to Joy Chakraborthy, CEO, TV Today Network.

BestMediaInfo.com could not reach Kulshreshtha and Chakraborthy despite several attempts for their comments; however, sources close to the development have confirmed the news.

This will be Kulshreshtha's second stint with TVTN where he spent more than 8 years as Director Technical & Operations. A seasoned professional with over two decades of experience in broadcast industry, Kulshreshtha had joined TVTN in January 1999 and was instrumental in the launch of Aaj Tak channel. Later, he launched TVTN's English News Channel Headlines Today, Regional Channel Delhi Aaj Tak and Tez.

Kulshreshtha left TVTN in April 2007 to become the CEO of Triveni Media Ltd and launched Voice of India. He moved on from Voice of India after a year to setup Wide Angle Technologies that is involved in Design & Development of Technical Infrastructure for new projects in the Broadcast Sector, the planning and execution of projects, including key strategic decisions regarding implementation of the same.

Kulshreshtha was also appointed as Consultant at INX Media in 2009.
