publive-imageIn this fast paced world, we hardly have the time to sit back and relax. With increase in work-life stress and with teenagers beginning to encounter quarter life crisis, it is time we pull up our socks and consciously take a step towards healthy living. Given this scenario, COLORS launches a wellness show 'All is Well with Dr. Ahluwalia', that will not drive awareness but also educate the audiences towards managing health at home and leading a better lifestyle starting April 29th every Sunday at 12 noon with Dr. Sonu Ahluwalia. Based on the international format - Dr. OZ, this show is one-of-its-kind in India that will simplify the medical jargons and terminology for the masses and give its audiences the medical expertise with a feel good factor.

Dr. Sonu Ahluwalia – 'the real Munnabhai MBBS' on All Is Well is a US trained Orthopedic surgeon and an injury specialist. Trained from Harvard Medical School in Boston, Dr. Sonu is a well-known celebrity doctor who has treated Hrithik Roshan for his knee injury.

Taking the viewers through this 1hour format show, that tracks health issues, current disease, inspiring stories of ordinary people fighting ailments, is Dr. Sonu Ahluwalia 'the real Munnabhai MBBS' with a heart of gold. He demystifies everything related to health and medicine, giving simple solutions and answers to all health and lifestyle related issues in common man's terms. This interactive show will make health regime a fun experience through games, quizzes, power workouts and dance.

Born in Delhi, Dr. Ahluwalia has been practising medicine in Los Angeles for over 8 years now. Talking about coming back to India with a wellness show - All Is Well, he says, “It has been long since I've wanted to bring my medical expertise to the audience in an interactive format, and television is the best platform to do so. Being an Indian, I had always wanted to give back to the nation all that I imbibed from here and this show is a small effort. Through All Is Well I plan to get the audiences familiar with growing health issues, leading a fit lifestyle and also making health regimes fun to follow. Life is not merely being alive, but being well.”

Adding to this, Raj Nayak, CEO, COLORS said, “With All Is Well, we are excited to explore wellness as a concept that brings to our audiences edutainment weekly in a show that is both educative and entertaining. It takes a Sundays - 12 noon slot, a time when the entire family gets together, thereby building our weekend viewing. The show is also in line with the COLORS philosophy of providing the viewers with variety of programming. With All Is well, we hope to bring in more awareness on health issues and take up the cause of reaching the message to a large audience.”

Talking about the format, Niret Alva – Co Founder, Miditech said, “All Is Well is the Indian version of the popular American - Dr. OZ format. It's great to bring an interactive show that highlights health and medicine in a simpler and entertaining format to the Indian audience.  Dr. Sonu is the perfect fit to take on as the host; he is witty and connects well with the audience. His experience and insights into the profession has worked towards making this show engaging and informative.”
