Zee TV takes No. 3 spot again; Star Plus gains big

The 11th week of TAM 2012 witnesses a close battle for the No. 2 position as the three Hindi GECs are separated by a mere 4 GRPs

India's No. 1 Hindi general entertainment channel Star Plus has increased its lead to 69 points from the No. 2 channel in the 11th week of TAM 2012 (March 11-17). While Sony Entertainment Television remains the second most watched channel, Zee TV has jumped to No. 3 position. However, the week saw an intense battle for the No. 2 slot among the Hindi GECs – just 4 points separating Sony, Colors and Zee TV.

By adding 24 GRPs in Week 11, Star Plus has become the distant leader among all the Hindi GECs. The channel has increased its lead to 69 points, recording 287 GRPs (last week 263).

Remaining at No. 2, Sony Entertainment Television has lost 13 points this week, recording 218 GRPs (last week 231).

By adding just 5 GRPs, Zee TV has become the No. 3 GEC again this week. The channel has recorded 217 GRPs (last week 212).

Colors has slipped to No. 4 with 214 GRPs (last week 215).

SAB TV has lost a few points and recorded 129 GRPs this week (last week 136).

At No. 6, Life OK has recorded 84 GRPs (last week 85).

Imagine TV has recorded 63 GRPs (last week 62).

Sahara One has seen a loss of 2 GRPs to register 43 GRPs this week (last week 45).
