Zee TV jumps to No. 2; pushes back Sony and Colors

Star Plus crosses the 300-mark in Week 12 of TAM 2012; increases margin by more than 100 GRPs from the No. 2 channel

Zee TV, which acquired the No. 3 position last week, has jumped to No. 2 in Week 12 of TAM 2012 (March 18 - March 24). As a result, Sony Entertainment Television and Colors have slipped to No. 3 and No. 4 positions, respectively. India's No. 1 Hindi general entertainment channel Star Plus has crossed the 300-mark again after a long gap. It now has a lead of more than 100 GRPs from the No. 2 channel.

By adding 31 GRPs in Week 12, Star Plus has taken a lead of 104 GRPs from the No. 2 channel. The channel has recorded 318 GRPs this week (last week 287).

Despite losing a few GRPs, Zee TV has become the No. 2 GEC this week. The channel has recorded 214 GRPs (last week 217).

Now at No. 3, Sony Entertainment Television has fetched 209 GRPs (last week 218).

Colors is at No. 4 position with 200 GRPs (last week 214).

SAB TV has added a few points to record 132 GRPs this week (last week 129).

At No. 6, Life OK has recorded 74 GRPs (last week 84).

Imagine TV has recorded 62 GRPs (last week 63).
