publive-imageFollowing a pitch involving five agencies, Lintas Initiative Media has bagged the media duties of Crazeal. The business is estimated to be worth Rs 25 crore. Crazeal is the India unit of Groupon Inc., a global leader in group-buying, with a presence in over 45 countries and more than 120 million subscribers.

The US-based e-commerce portal sells daily deals coupons of local retail outlets. It entered the Indian market in January last year by buying out Kolkata-based daily deals site SoSasta.com, which was revamped as Crazeal in October last year. The site has a presence in Delhi and National Capital Region (NCR), Mumbai, Bangalore, Ahmedabad, Chandigarh, Chennai, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Kolkata, Nagpur and Pune. Forbes magazine has called it the fastest growing company ever.
