UTV Software reports net loss of Rs 42 cr in Q3 2011

Overall, the UTV Group has posted a net loss of Rs 92 crore in the quarter ending December 2011

UTV Software Communications Ltd has reported a net loss of Rs 442.011 million for the quarter ended December 31, 2011 against a net profit of Rs 195.934 million for the same quarter in the previous year. Total Income has decreased from Rs 1,287.398 million for the quarter against Rs 600.518 million for the same quarter in the last fiscal.

The UTV Group has posted a net loss after minority interest of Rs 961.990 million for the quarter ended December 31, 2011 compared with a net profit of Rs 399.828 million for the quarter ended December 31, 2010. Total Income has decreased from Rs 2,559.485 million for the quarter against Rs 1,662.156 million for the quarter ended December 31, 2011.
