Ex-Nielsen MD Sarang Panchal joins Majestic MRSS

He comes in as Chief Mentor and Co-Founder of the India arm of Asia's largest market research entity

Sarang Panchal, who has more than two decades of experience in market research, has recently joined MRSS, the Indian arm of Majestic MRSS, Asia's largest market research company. Panchal was Managing Director of The Nielsen Company, Asia-Pacific, before joining MRSS.

Raj Sharma, Co-Founder and President, Majestic MRSS, said, “Panchal's appointment will have a huge impact. With the kind of knowledge of the Indian market that he has, he will help us provide a lot of value to our Indian clients. The formation of Indian arm will help us gain sizable market share.”

In order to cater to the Rs 1,000-crore market research industry in India, Majestic MRSS, with a presence in over 18 countries, has formed a separate Indian arm, MRSS India.

MRSS India will be based in Mumbai, and service clients from Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, Chennai, Bangalore and Hyderabad. The company has aims to garner 20 per cent market share in the first three years of operation.
