Colors takes a big leap; Star Plus crosses 300-mark

Colors Screen Awards fetches 5.4 TVR, and its Ring Ka King opens at 2.2 TVR

Colors has taken a big leap by adding 30 GRPs in the fourth week of TAM 2012. The channel has got the boost riding on its two new properties – Colors Screen Awards and Ring Ka King. Colors Screen Awards aired on Sunday, January 22, 2012, has fetched 5.4 TVR while its new sports reality show Ring Ka King launched on Saturday, January 28, 2012, has opened with 2.2 TVR. The fourth week also saw Star Plus crossing the 300-mark yet again.

Star Plus has maintained its leadership in the Hindi GEC category with 306 GRPs in Week 4 of TAM 2012 (last week 293).

Sony has maintained the status quo with 237 GRPs this week (last week 237).

Riding on Colors Screen Awards, Colors has taken a big leap of 30 GRPs this week, garnering 230 GRPs (last week 200).

Zee TV saw a decline this week, registering 172 GRPs (last week 185).

SAB TV remains at No. 5 with 132 GRPs this week (last week 131).

At No. 6, Life OK has managed to stay at 85 GRPs this week (last week 87).

Imagine TV has recorded 61 GRPs this week (last week 65).

Sahara One has 45 GRPs this week (last week 42).
