publive-imageThere is a string of changes at the top at Lintas Media Group. Soon after the news of Sudha Natrajan being appointed CEO of Lintas Initiative Media, which henceforth will be the flagship brand of LMG, has come the news that NP Sathyamurthy, popularly known as 'Sathya', who was COO of Lintas Media Group and CEO for Karishma Initiative, has put in his publive-imagepapers. He will be joining Mudra Max Media as President and Head. He will be joining his new assignment in April after serving out his notice period.

In another development, Premjeet Sodhi, who is at present President of LMG's brand The Collaborative, has shifted from Delhi to Mumbai to replace Sathyamurthy.

In another major development, Suresh Balakrishnan, after an extended role in newspaper ad sales leadership roles, has returned to Lintas and will be publive-imagebased in Mumbai. He is expected to head a new agency brand under the LMG umbrella as CEO though his specific role is yet to be defined. Balakrishnan is joining LMG from today. He will report to LMG Chairman and CEO, Lynn de Souza.

Balakrishnan has over 25 years of media experience, having started his career with The Times of India Group. He then moved to Lowe Lintas' Initiative Media, which he left as Executive VP and General Manager in 2003. He moved to Hindustan Times as VP, Media and Marketing. From there he went to Zee Entertainment Enterprises (ZEEL) as Executive Vice-President, publive-imageMarketing. Subsequently, he joined DNA when Zee Group joined hands with the Bhaskar Group to launch the newspaper in Mumbai.

His last stop in the newspaper industry was Mail Today, of the India Today Group, which he joined as COO. Balakrishnan left Mail Today last year to take a sabbatical and was teaching media management at Pune's Symbiosis Institute of Media & Communication.
