Maxus out, MPG in for Parle Products

The media duties of the biscuits and confectionery products brand will now be handled under TME-MPG partnership

BestMediaInfo Bureau | Delhi | January 6, 2012

publive-imageParle Products has shifted its media duties from Maxus. MPG will now handle the media duties of the confectionery products company. It is to be noted that the media duties of Parle Products were split between Maxus and TME. While TME still remains on board, Maxus' share of the account will now be handled by MPG.

The development was confirmed by senior sources in the company to BestMediaInfo.com on condition of anonymity.

The current media spend of the company is estimated at around Rs 50 crore.

It may be recalled that in 2010, Parle Products had realigned the media duties of its entire portfolio and appointed Maxus and TME as its media agencies after a brief parting of ways with TME for a few months prior to that. For the record, recently, TME and MPG joined hands to create a joint media buying entity.
