After all the hype, drama and action, the high-profile Bigg Boss Season 5 is finally coming to an end. The grand finale will be aired on January 7, 2012. Juhi Parmar, Siddharth Bharadwaj, Akashdeep Saigal, Mahek Chahal and Amar Updhayay are the 'famous five' to have made to the last lap. But for Colors, the task on hand is to find an appropriate successor to the reality show.

The channel currently plans to put on air a fictional show, 'Na Bole Tum Na Maine Kuch Kaha', in the 10:30 PM slot. The main characters of the serial are Aakanksha Singh and Kunal Karan Kapoor, produced by Sunshine Productions.

Commenting on the upcoming changes, Rajesh Iyer, Head - Marketing, Colors, said, "We launch our shows with the expectation that the viewers will love our story telling by building characters that are very relatable. 'Na Bole Tum…' is an interesting story of Mohan and Mrs Vyas, which highlights that love can come in different shapes and sizes and will strike you when you least expect it. While you may not like what destiny doles out to you, you just have to make the best of it. The concept is quite unique owing to which we are sure that it will appeal to our audiences."

In terms of weekday programming, this is the only new serial that the channel is planning to introduce. For the 11:00 PM slot, Colors is giving a second chance to 'Na Aana Is Desh Laado'. This serial had been shifted to 1:00 PM from October 3, 2011.

"'Na Aana Is Des Laado' will air in the afternoon as well as primetime band on Colors, thus consolidating both time bands. The show has witnessed a strong viewer-base and bringing it back to the primetime band will help strengthen our slots," said Iyer. However, it will be interesting to see if Laado is able to pick up the TRPs this time round..

For weekend programming, there are plans to get in a wresting based reality show 'Ring Ka King' that will be aired from January 14, 2012, and is expected to add zing to the reality lineup of Colors.

Apart from this, 'Laagi Tujhse Lagan' too will be finally wrapping up and the last episode of this serial will be aired on Friday, January 6.

All in all, it seems to be an interesting lineup for the channel but one will have to see if it is able to stick to its No. 2 position post Bigg Boss.
