Unilever’s Vice President – Media to head the juries of the first edition of Festival of Media Asia across 12 categories.

The Festival of Media Asia 2011 has announced the appointment of Rahul Welde, Vice President - Media, Unilever - Asia, Africa, Middle East, Turkey and Russia as Chair of the Jury. With 12 entering categories, the first edition of Awards in Asia provides a platform to promote the best work in Asia.
The Festival of Media Asia had called for entries in the first week of August with 9th September 2011 as the deadline for the entries. Joining forces for the first time The Festival of Media Asia will be organised by C Squared, the company behind The Festival of Media brand and Lighthouse Independent Media, the publishers of Marketing Magazine, Asia Pacific.
The Festival of Media Asia is all prepared to be the premier marketing and media event dedicated to communications professionals across the Asian market. Uniquely positioned to bring together Asia's most influential marketers, media owners and media agency networks, the 2-day Festival will combine a high-level conference and exhibition with networking sessions and a unique awards ceremony.
Taking place at the Marina Bay Sands Hotel, Singapore, 13-15 November 2011, the event will provide the opportunity to share best practice and celebrate achievements in media innovation within the Asian context.
