Star News and Zee News tend to fight for the 2nd position; close battle for No.3 position between IBN7 and India TV.

Anna Hazare's movement for Lokpal bill was clearly the movement of the masses and hence some Hindi news channels recorded more than 100% jump over their average viewership during the movement. The overall Hindi news genre has seen a jump of 86% where the genre share has increased from 5.9% to 11.02%.
According to the TAM data released for the week 34 (14th August to 20th August), Aaj Tak continues to get highest TVR and hence occupies 1st position whereas Star News and Zee News tend to fight for the 2nd position where Zee News leads with No.2 having marginal difference to Star News which stands 3rd in HSM Market.
In the All India Market, Aaj Tak continues to get highest TVR and hence occupies 1st position. Here Star News is in 2nd position and Zee News in 3rd position.
